Well whaddayaknow. With clear skies, a waning crescent moon setting far in the west, and a long exposure you can see some stars over San Francisco! Well, at least I think they're stars ... could be digital noise in the camera sensor :)
This is only a first attempt at this sort of thing for me. Thanks to ZoomLens and Seanpking for providing the incentive.
