Hi folks, how are we all?!
Long day yesterday but pretty good never the less!
We did our presentation which looked pretty cool on the wall, massive amounts of paper! It was quite well received too which is good! The work paid off. :) Now we're done with our group stuff and we're going down our own individual paths. We did the 'vision' in our group and then on our own we are doing a specific building. Got 5 or so weeks to do it I think. So over this week i have to make some small idea models and sketches. Quite nice.
After dinner I decided to go and take some photos as I'm not in and so don't have to get up early today. Whilst I was around piccadilly bus station a fella called Ali came up to me and started chatting away, he has the same camera as me and is visiting Manchester to photograph some cars and look around. I'm off to find his flickr after this.
I wandered around a little route of the city. I was snapping the Armani Building from the pavement over it and I was approached by security asking why I was photographing it. I asked what I was doing wrong and was told I couldn't photograph it if it was for a press release... No probs there then, nice security guard too, asked why I didn't take the photos during the day instead so I explained a bit about the light trails and stuff.
This one is a montage of 2, one of the bus swinging around and then one of the tram blended together. The colours were quite flat even after colour efex pro... so mono all the way.
Not sure what i'll do today. Need to pop into town but then I think i'll take it easy. Start planning my models...
