Covent Noir

I'll be honest. I love this photo. I took it back in December, and wanted to post it since, but just never quite got round to it.

I think, perhaps I like it because it is everything it purports not to be. So contintental. You can look at this, the cafe, the cobbled street, the long shadows cast by the bystanders, and imagine you are in Milan, or perhaps Paris, after a rain storm, and just watching the world go by. Instead, this is just a restaurant in Covent Garden in London!

This look I think has a definite film noir look to it, hence my title.
