A bronze bust of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the founding father of Nationalist China, stands in front of the Joe Soong Chinese School Museum in Locke, CA. With the Big Dipper situated as such in the summer sky, I was undecided as to what was my focal point. I made a long exposure of the Big Dipper so it would be more illuminated and then masked in the school and the bust.
